Amman, SANA- The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Commerce, Khalil Hajj Tawfiq, revealed that a Jordanian-Syrian technical forum will soon be held in Damascus, considering that Syria's stability is in Jordan's interest.
In an interview with the Jordanian al-Mamlaka TV channel, Hajj Tawfiq predicted that the forum will be held this month, saying, "The reconstruction phase has now begun after the lifting of sanctions."
In this regard, Hajj Tawfiq noted that Jordan possesses "tremendous capabilities" in the information technology sector and has the ability to assist Syria in this and other reconstruction-related issues. He called on Arab countries to support Syria, especially in the construction, information technology, and education sectors.
He confirmed that, in addition to the aforementioned technical forum, preparations are currently underway to hold a Jordanian-Syrian economic forum in Damascus as well.
