BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The following is a summary of published science and technology news of China:
LARGE CIVIL HELICOPTER
China's independently developed AC313A large civil helicopter has successfully conducted the first round of plateau flight tests, according to the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
This round of flight tests verified the AC313A helicopter's flight performance and quality on plateaus, as well as the adaptability of its major systems, said the AVIC.
The AVIC-developed AC313A is a 13-tonne-class large multi-purpose civil helicopter with single main rotor and tail rotor. It took to the skies for its maiden flight on May 17, 2022.
PROMOTING CULTURAL RELICS-RELATED SCI-TECH INNOVATION
China has released a guideline to boost scientific and technological innovation related to cultural relics, according to the National Cultural Heritage Administration (NCHA).
The guideline, jointly issued by departments including the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the NCHA, addresses longstanding issues hindering cultural relics-related sci-tech innovation, such as imbalanced resource allocation and weak management.
SCI-TECH INNOVATIONS IN DAIRY INDUSTRY
China has accelerated scientific and technological innovations in the dairy industry to meet the growing needs of consumers and promote high-quality development, an official said at a symposium.
In 2013, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences launched a national agricultural sci-tech innovation project, and set up a batch of research teams for the dairy industry. The project has focused on multiple fields, such as dairy breeding, pasture planting and utilization, feed nutrition control, disease prevention and control, green and low-carbon processing technology, quality and safety monitoring, and nutrition evaluation.
