China boosting computing power to achieve diverse applications

At the recently held 2023 World Computing Conference, China Electronics Corporation and Huawei launched the PengTeng Ecosystem series program, aimed at in-depth cooperation in industrial computing standards, partnership programs, and technical collaboration.
The scale of China's computing industry hit 2.6 trillion yuan (about 362.2 billion dollars) in 2022, according to the conference, which concluded Saturday.
"The efficiency and service quality of economic and social operations can also be significantly improved with the introduction of computing power into various applications," Fan said.
By leveraging cloud computing and AI technology, we can achieve intelligent city management, enhance industrial manufacturing and boost healthcare services, Fan added.
