ABU DHABI, 6th March, 2023 (WAM) -- EDGE Group entity, JAHEZIYA, a single-stop service provider for defence solutions and emergency response services, and the UAE Cybersecurity Council (CSC) today announced the renewal of their partnership to develop and implement the best practices for cybersecurity awareness and increase knowledge on the importance of online safety.
In conjunction with JAHEZIYA, the CSC intends to raise baseline online safety awareness through nationwide initiatives and campaigns, increase risk awareness related to using technology, and demonstrate how to use technology securely and productively.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the CSC - UAE Government, said, "Partnering with EDGE and JAHEZIYA will provide consistent, quality risk prevention and cybersecurity best practice initiatives to communities across the UAE. In line with our goals, we continue to unite efforts and capabilities that result in developing and disseminating the latest cyber awareness programmes, enabling confidence while fortifying response readiness."
Talal Al Hashmi, JAHEZIYA CEO, said, "We are honoured to partner with the CSC on the Cyber Pulse Project, an initiative designed to raise public awareness of cybersecurity concepts, the impact of common threats, and the importance of developing cyber literacy and resilience. The programme is a critical step forward in the fight against cybercrime, ensuring individuals and organisations are equipped to protect their data and systems."
Established in 2020 by the UAE Cabinet, the CSC aims to develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy while establishing a robust infrastructure that protects UAE cyberspace.
