Washington D.C. [USA], Feb 15 (ANI): It seems that Valentine
's Day was extra special for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. The 34-year-old pop star and the 42-year-old actor got engaged, reported People magazine.
Katy Perry took to Instagram and shared her first photo with her new fianc
. The couple posted a close-up image of the pair surrounded by a number of heart-shaped balloons. She could be seen showing off her unique flower-shaped diamond ring, which features a colourful pink stone in the centre.
The pop star captioned the image
"Full bloom", playing on her to-be husband's name.
Bloom too shared the image, captioning it,
"Lifetimes."
Fans first got an inkling of something brewing between the two when they were captured in photos together at a Golden Globe Awards after-party in early January, reported E! Online.
This marks the second engagement for both stars. Perry was previously married to comedian Russell Brand for 14 months while Bloom was married to model Miranda Kerr for three years and has a son Flynn with Kerr.
